This class is a six-week drumming class for young people with ADHD and their parents/caregivers.  Kids will experience the cognitive benefit and joy of drumming while their parents gain valuable ADHD information on parenting.

How does Drumming help?
Drumming raises dopamine in the brain, a neurotransmitter responsible for regulating attention,  memory and motivation. Music bolsters attention and focus, reducing hyperactivity and strengthens social skills
.  In fact, drumming l
ights up both left and right lobes of the brain and improves cognitive function.  It utilizes rhythm which provides structure, soothing the ADHD brain that tries to regulate.  It even improves executive functioning, builds confidence and self-esteem, supports stress management, and improves social skills!

What makes ADD Drumming for Joy a unique experience?
